By not accepting insurance or third party reimbursements, Dr Arbaugh is able to offer affordable conversation that is not directed by third party requirements and or carry a diagnostic label.

Dr. Arbaugh believes that support should be accessible. Just as open communication is an ongoing part of the dialogue process, rates can be adjusted over time based on honest conversations regarding financial need or the requirement for increased session frequency. Reduced-rate arrangements are handled with trust, appreciation, and complete confidentiality.

Individual Dialogue

$120 / 50 Min

Groups & Extended Sessions

$175 / 90 Min

  • Ideal For couples, family dynamics, or individuals needing extra time.

  • Extended time to untangle complex relational dynamics without feeling rushed.

  • Applies to both sessions for couples/families and extended individual sessions.

Accepted Payment Methods

Payment Types: Cash, personal checks, and major credit cards are accepted at the time of service.

Credit Card Processing: Please note that a standard $3.00 processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Important Policy Note:

Insurance: Dr. Arbaugh no longer practices clinical psychology and does NOT accept insurance. Working outside insurance companies ensures your privacy and allows your care to be guided entirely by your personal goals—not third-party requirements.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice via phone (540) 487-1261 or email (DrArbaugh@yahoo.com). Missed appointments without 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee. True emergencies and dangerous weather conditions are always excused.
